-The Brief History of Evolution of Internet Infrastructure - how it all  started and why it ended up the way it is now-Challenges for providing hard QoS for interactive media services  (voice,video, gaming)on today's networks
-Why Best Effort Packet Netwoks? What are advantages and limitations? What are other approaches for building Internet and do they work?
-What is Flow State Aware Technology, how it works, advantages and disadvanages.
-New International standards that emerge to solve current QoS issues
-What can happen next? Can we make the Internet Smarter?

PRESENTER

Katya Puzyrko is a CEO and Founder of Rainba Networks, start-up developing Flow State Aware Media Controller Appliance. Prior to that Co-founder and VP of Business Development and Marketing of Anagran (company building QoS enabled flow routers), before that Director of Business Development at Caspian Network.
Ms. Puzyrko received Degree of Engineer (2-years post-Masters) in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Management Science and Operations Research from Stanford University.  She is Kauffman Fellows Program Finalist - an educational program that trains emerging leaders in venture capital and high-growth companies.
