When Sam jumped off the air vent, he landed in the clear, large, silent, and empty room on floor forty. He smelled his own fear because if he was caught, it was the last thing he'll do until he falls with his eyes shut, forever. He searched around the room for anything good to protect him. First, he tried to find a map of the whole system of the bank. He found nothing but dust bunnies and paper clips. Next, he needed some weapon to fight. What he found was no weapons but his own feet and hands. Last, he needed scissors in case of innocent people were tied up. He found the scissors. He quickly placed the scissors in his pocket. When he was done, he heard something. It was damp and quiet, but it got louder us the people came closer. Sam rushed back to the air vent. The people were coming to the room he was in.
Sam was lucky. He hid at the last second. From the air vent Sam saw to men pushing and grabbing a hostage. The two men were wearing a black mask, black shirt and pants, and caring fully loaded forks. The hostage was just wearing his everyday life clothes, a shirt, pants and fresh underwear and socks. The hostage was tied up in a chair. Sam saw the whole thing.
"Where is the safe?!" The captain said.
"I don't know!" the man replied. "I'm not the dumb CEO of the place! If you want to know then ask him!
"Silence!" The other robber said.
"Thanks," replied the captain.
"We know you are the vice CEO of this bank. We know that you are lying because if the CEO told you, you would remember where it is," said the captain.
"Fine," the man said. "I know were it is. But I'm not telling you."
The captain called his partner for a meeting to decide on the punishment. "Okay man," the captain said. "One sentence we won't like and you will be shot to death if it's the last thing you'll do."
The man was scared at that point. He knew he needed to talk fast.
"I-I would-would but-but I'm-I'm," the man paused for a moment. "But I'm allergic to telling secrets!"
"I had enough," the captain said, raising his fork up to the man.
Sam knew that had to rescue the man. So Sam did the smartest thing. He jumped off the air vent.
And off he went down the air vent, hitting the captain. The shot was almost a near miss. The captain fell unconscious. The robber ran away as fast as he could. Luckily, Sam took the fork and threw the fork, hitting the robber in the leg. He fell down, injured. Sam wiped down the fork with a hanger chief and pointed it asking questions.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Said Sam.
"What do you think?!" The robber whimpered. "The money!"
Sam didn't like his way of answering. Sam tickled the robber to a slow and painful death.
Sam untied the man and Sam got his thanks for his bold rescue.
"What is your name?" The man said.
"Sam Bolsman," Sam replied. "Yours?"
"Timothy Walfeilder. But call me Tim for short," Tim said.
"Okay," Said Sam."
